The blank girl

I'm the blank girl nobody knows
I read books and write
I love to recite
But no one likes those things.
But remember I'm only a blank thing.

Conversation with a Wild Flower

Today, I had a conversation with a wild flower
Yes, a wild flower duo
The prettier one scarlet tint
The other one a prime green mint.
Both smiling up at me.
But you know the mint ended up being the better
For scarlet is just a color.
Mint tastes sharp and clean
a pastel color of green

A wild flower duo plucked from some distant land.

Although sometimes looks can be the lesser
When your looking for something to withstand.

Forest Green Harmonica Queen

Today I'm a queen
with my silver harmonica
and wardrobe forest green.

Closing time

The tbird library's about to close
I write and write but all despite the library is closing
Yes, the library is closing in a half an hour
better type quicker
rhyme
meter
now I find my coffee sweeter.
I cannot stop for a second glance
I hope this post gives me a second chance
at accomplishing a writing career
I can't think what rhymes right here.

Aah yes I've remembered a year
when I was fourteen
I accomplished half of my dream
recognition in a book

Now I write for publishers to maybe give me a second look.
Its closing time my coffee's gone.

Caffeine

Caffeine does my soul justice
Keeps me awake at night.

Like a vampire or cat
My lights stay on bright.

I lift not a dream
My business is supreme.
When all the lights are out
I get most of my jobs done.
I'd rather work then
Than in the hot sun.

Common Folk

So hard it is in a small town
To connect with others and not to drown
In commonness.
Commonness of country folk.
Not bad if its all you've had
But quite grim when your comin' in.

Feather of Delight

If you thought yourself a feather
So sublime and right
I guess you might not see
When your wrong or right.

Little glance, Little Gaze

A little glance, a little gaze
sometimes a deface
foreign eyes
some surprise
deduction is a gamble
right as rain
reduction
like or dislike
self-esteem makes you gorgeous.

A little glance, a little gaze,
something small,
a little bit haze.
Like or dislike
I guess we'll see.
